Caribbean Stud and Omaha: A Break From Texas Hold'Em
Basic Omaha Poker
A Dealer Button is used to denote the dealer position. The player immediately left of the Button places a Small Blind bet. This bet is half of the table’s small bet stakes. The player left of the Small Blind will place a bet that is equal to the table’s small bet stakes. This is called the Big Blind.
After the blinds have been posted, each player is dealt four hole cards. This is followed by a round of betting starting with the player left of the Big Blind. Once this round of betting is finished, three community cards are dealt face up, this is called the Flop.

Another round of betting ensues with the player immediately left of the Button. Once this betting round is finished, a fourth community card is dealt face up. This is the Turn. Betting again starts with the player immediately left of the Button. Betting value now doubles from the Small Blind value to the Big Blind value.
The fifth and final community card is dealt face up. This is the River. Betting again begins with the player just left of the Button. The best five card hand wins, however, the winning hand must use two hole cards and three of the community cards. Identical winning hands share the pot.
Omaha is fast becoming as popular as Texas Hold'Em. Casinos that offer Omaha often display their tournament calendars
